I decided to wear this with a pair of denim shorts and over-the-knee socks for an autumn feel. You could wear this outfit with a pair of black strappy heels instead for a more girly touch. I was actually inspired by Rihanna when she wore a crewneck sweater with denim shorts and strappy heels to a basketball game, but I wore this outfit to school and I wasn't about to wear heels to school this day.

So I got a lot of comments about this top at school the day that I wore this and some people said they hate Kanye West, some thought it was a cool top and some said it was a funny top. I agree that it is a cool sweater and that it is pretty funny, but I don't hate Kanye West. I actually love Yeezy's music and fashion sense...since the College Dropout days. Even though he's kinda crazy nowadays, he's still a genius to me...and he eats ice cream. So, why not have that on a sweater right?! Hope you all enjoy this look! I am currently studying for finals for my 2nd semester of Med-Surg Nursing! So far, so good! Getting closer and closer to my goal each day...Balancing nursing and blogging, I'm feelin' like a champ.

I'm back!
I am officially on summer vacation and, boy, does it feel refreshing. School kicked my ass, but I totally passed my first semester of nursing school with flying colors. Let me tell you, it was a lot of hard work and took up all of my time.

Shoutout to my girl, Charamon, from HerFavoriteLA for sending me this cute jeweled top/dress. It's very cute, flirty, and classy. Decided to pair it with my Scully's...why not wear all white errthang?!

Back to wearing my infamous head wrap and my bamboo good wood heart-shaped hoops. I've searched for the perfect boyfriend jeans for a while now and I finally found them. Got them at H&M for $30. Great deal. Usually, boyfriend jeans run for $60-$70 and most of them are extra baggy for me since I'm petite. H&M had the perfect ones. They fit perfectly, not too baggy and not too tight. Perfect!

If the weather is kind of chilly, you can throw on your favorite leather jacket and a nice, warm knit black circle scarf or you can wear a loose, knit off-the-shoulder sweater instead of the leotard. I live in sunny, warm Southern California so the weather is quite warm year round which explains why I am wearing this fit. Hope you all enjoy this look!

Look inspired by Yeezy when he wore an ombré denim flannel one day. I found this on Black Friday and it's mens size but I figured I wanted to wear it as an oversized flannel anyway. Surprisingly, I found a lot of cool things at Forever 21 yesterday. This skirt was one of them. I've been really feeling the midi skirt trend lately. It makes your figure really sexy because it brings out your curves...or the little curves that I have. I have always envisioned these types of skirts with a cute bralet or corset when dressing up. To dress this skirt down, you can always wear this with a crop knit sweater or a tee shirt and Nike Roshes, Chuck's, or vans.

My boyfriend got me Jeffrey Campbell Scully's for Christmas! Thanks babe. I've wanted these so bad...I had so many outfit ideas for these and this fit was one of them. I have plenty more to come. FAUX-REAL, THOUGH.

This past weekend has been very busy for me. 'Busy' as in...shopping 'busy.' Black Friday sales and Cyber weekend and Cyber Monday. It was all overwhelming for me. This faux fur coat from H&M is probably my favorite come-up. I waited in line at H&M on Black Friday at 5am and walked in chill as fuck, while everyone was running around going bananas. I didn't even look at the sale. I just went in there to look for a faux fur coat and I found this one for full price. When I got to the cash register, they gave me 30% off because apparently it was "30% off outerwear." I was so happy! The coat ended up being $22. Best come-up ever. I am very happy with this purchase and it has to be one of my favorite things I bought that day.

I decided to wear it with my Stüssy jersey, my JC Pointe's and lots of gold accessories. I feel G as fuck in this outfit. It's got a nice 'gangsta rapper' feel, [LOL].

Outfit of the Night for the MURS Show

This is what I'm wearing tonight to go and see my favorite rapper, MURS, at House of Blues Anaheim. I'm still a little sick so I decided to dress warm and repeat this outfit I wore last year, just changed up the shoes. If you have been following me for a while, you would know that I shot in this same exact outfit last year, but I wore JC Pointe's and I had my hair down with Ombré. Well, I'm bringing my favorite headwrap back because MURS recognizes me when I have it on. Jordan and I go to so many of his shows and we've gone to three Paid Dues Festivals and we always say "hi" to him every time we see him. It's safe to say we're his biggest fans and I'm thrilled that he follows me on Twitter and Instagram. I love MURS because he's so down for his fans and he treats his fans like we're all his homies.

If you've never heard of him before, go look him up. MURS stands for Making Underground Raw Shit and he is one of the realest underground rappers there is. My favorite albums are with him and 9th Wonder. They make THE BEST dynamic duo. My favorite song to listen to is "Walk Like A Man" off of "3:16 the 9th Edition." It's a great song because it tells a great, but sad story. It's one of the reasons why I love MURS so much because he tells stories through his raps and he's so good at it. He's a great story-teller and I love every story he has to say.

Comfortable

FINALLY got my hands on a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane's!!!! I've posted about wanting them last year, but I never built up the courage to spend $200. Thank goodness to Karmaloop's 40% off sale, plus FREE SHIPPING! It was like a sign from the shoe gods and I couldn't pass up that chance, so I bought it last Wednesday night when my direct deposit kicked in to my bank account.

Earlier this week, I had to get the flu shot and since then, I've been sick. I wanted to wear the Coltrane's all dressed up and glamorous, but I just wasn't feelin' it so I decided to put together a comfortable, girly, "Brandy Melville"-ish fit. Plus, Coltrane's make the perfect everyday shoe, so why not rock them with a wearable outfit. Hope you all enjoy this look. I plan to wear my Coltrane's to the Murs show I'm attending tomorrow, so #staycurious for that outfit. I will post it before the show!

I'm a Boss Ass...

I honestly don't know why I bought this sweater. All I know is that when I saw it, I automatically knew I wanted to cut it into a crop crewneck sweater. Probably because the letters aren't too low so it makes a perfect cropped sweater.

I bought these sweatpants because obviously I've really been feelin' the whole sweatpants trend going on right now...perfect for this cold weather. Honestly bought these on implulse (what's new?). I follow Luna B on Instagram and when I saw them post these pants, I went straight to their website and copped it without even thinking about it. Their site seriously runs out of my size the fastest so you have to be on it with them. I love everything they sell on there!
