I'm baaaaaack!!!!
I'm officially done with nursing school and I graduate on Friday! I'm so glad that's over and done with...now all I have to worry about is studying for the boards. But I'm back to shooting outfits again! I've planned out a bunch of fits and a new concept to my shoots with the help of my team. So stay curious because this is just one of many! I even plan to shoot more lookbook videos.

California Dreamin'

Hope everyone's enjoying their summer, because I sure am! Follow me on Snapchat to keep up with me this summer. I've made an effort to be active every single day this summer. So far, I've been hiking on the weekends with my boyfriend, running every evening, going to the gym, rock climbing, shooting everywhere and anywhere. I'm just trying to do it all! Not to mention, I recently moved into a beach house so I can run at the beach everyday, BBQ on my deck and lay out on the beach anytime (which I did recently and happened to fall asleep for two hours and got dark as fuck!). But it's such a fun place to live. I'm so excited! Kap and I recently ran a mile on the beach and ran to this awesome little surfer mexican restaurant spot down the street from my house, it was fun! I can get used to this beach life. It's funny because I've lived in Huntington Beach for about 3 years now, but I lived on the Harbour and rarely ever went to the beach. The Harbour life was different because the beach only about a couple miles away but it was kind of a ways (walking distance) from where we lived. You couldn't walk to the beach. If you did, you'd be walking a long time. You could walk to the harbour beach, but it isn't the same as the beach-beach (if that makes sense...). I only paddle boarded in the summer time only a few times and kayaked, too, around Huntington Harbour. But now, I literally live on the beach. I just have to step out my front door and I'm on the beach! I love it! I plan to shoot a lot on the beach, since its essentially a private beach for the complex that I live in, it's pretty cool. I have to take advantage of an empty beach!

I'm pretty sad that I only have a month left of summer, but after all, this will be my very last semester of nursing school if all goes well. I'll shoot as much as I can before my summer break is over, so that I'll have posts to schedule while I'm back in school.

Nobody Likes You When You're 23

So...today is my 23rd Birthday! My "[Michael] Jordan" Year! Another year older...another year wiser... So far, I've accomplished:

- 1 & 1/2 years of nursing school (One more semester to go & I'll be an RN! Wow, that went by fast)
- Got an A in THE HARDEST MED-SURG ROTATION in the program! Yes, I worked damn hard for that A!
- Currently at 51.4K followers on Instagram
- I now own 20 Pairs of J's
- I started rock climbing! (Because of Kap) I could climb V1's now...still a beginner at it.
- I've mastered the soft-boiled egg (I've got it to perfection where it's cooked on the outside and when you break it in half, some of the outsides of the yolk are slightly cooked and the middle is yolky...mmm!)

A lot of things have changed this year. I feel like I grew up so much. If you knew me last year and didn't keep up with me up until now, allow me to re-introduce myself. I've changed a lot...in a good way. I really feel like I've grown up so much in just one year. Especially in nursing school, I've learned SO MUCH and I've grown into a better student nurse than I was last year. I used to be so shy just to walk into my patients' rooms to do a quick assessment or a bed bath. Now, I'm in and out of each room caring for all my patients, building a relationship with each of them, passing meds all day for 13-15hours on 2-3 patients, feeding them, changing their bedding, keeping their environment safe and neat, etc. I feel more confident in nursing, now, compared to last year. I mean, one more semester of Med-Surg and I'll be graduating by December. Yeah, a lot has changed this year. Yeah, I'm another year older...but, YES! I am SO MUCH CLOSER to my life goal. I'm almost there and this year, I'm going to work so hard to get there. I'm so happy with how my life is falling into place. I am still young, and I have more growing up to do...and who knows where my life will be next year. Things can always change, but all I know is that God has a plan for us. Trust Him. Blessed to see another year.

Comfort & Style

Hello there curiouser cats, here's a comfortable outfit post featuring these awesome pair of sweats from Hype Clothing UK. Not only are these sweats comfortable like pajamas, but they fit perfectly. I love to wear sweats high-waisted and these are in unisex sizes so I got an extra small. I love how they're not too baggy, either. Go and cop yourself a pair! They're perfect for those lazy days when you just want to bum it, but not really? You feel me?

These sweats look great with kicks...well, for me, I love to wear sweats/joggers with a pair of fly kicks. So with this look, I decided to wear my Air Force Ones for a little throwback feel (throwback to the early years of 2000 when Nelly made us all want two pairs, lol I know I bought two pairs in the 5th grade!). I could've also worn these sweats with a pair of J's like my white cement 3's, True Blue 3's, Fire Red 3's, or Taxi 12's...shit, any pair of my J's would go with these sweats. Even Vans would look good with these.

It's not like other baseball tees out there. The material is rich and thick, almost like black denim. I love how they sent me a large so I could wear it oversized. Thank you Profound Co. I love it!

Today is my 22nd birthday and it's bittersweet. It's safe to say I've got the "22 Blues." It's okay, though. I'll be 21 forever!

I'm back!
I am officially on summer vacation and, boy, does it feel refreshing. School kicked my ass, but I totally passed my first semester of nursing school with flying colors. Let me tell you, it was a lot of hard work and took up all of my time.

My spring break has come to an end. Follow my instagram for pictures from this week. I didn't shoot as much because I was just relaxing and enjoying my free time. Now, it's back to reality; back to this nursing life. BRB while I go kill off this second half of the first semester of nursing school.
