Back-to-School/Southern California Fall Look Book

Outfit One:
DIY Cropped Pocket Tee
American Apparel Easy Jean
Jeffrey Campbell Pointe
WESC Leopard Letterman Jacket

In Southern California, Fall is pretty much still summer because it still gets pretty warm. So I've put together a sort-of summer transition into fall look where the crop top is "summer-y" and the pants and jacket are very "fall." It makes a great back-to-school outfit because it's very comfortable to wear all day…well, maybe not the shoes. For school, you can switch up the shoes with a pair of vans, chucks, or JC platform sneakers.

Outfit Two:
UNIF Bundy Jumper
Obey Mens Cardigan
Nike Air Force Ones

Again, this outfit is a transition from summer to fall. The jumper is definitely meant for when the weather gets warm/hot, but when it does get a little breezy or chilly, throw on a loose cardigan to give that fall look.

Outfit Three:
Cheap Monday Bomber Jacket
H&M Tank Top
American Apparel Easy Jean
Nike "Speckle" Roshes

This outfit is more for when Southern Cali starts to get a little more cold. A bomber jacket will definitely keep you warm when it gets pretty windy in the fall. Then, when it gets a little warm in the middle of the day, the outfit looks good without it. This would make a great back-to-school look as well!

Outfit Four:
H&M Jumper
American Apparel Circle Skirt
Jeffrey Campbell "Cat Tapestry" Platform Sneakers

Perfect fall look for the bi-polar SoCal weather in the fall. Gets chilly and hot at the same time. A nice knit jumper over a circle skirt and a pair of sneakers makes for another great back-to-school look. Very laid-back with a girly and boyish touch.

Outfit Five:
Brandy Melville "Anastasia" Halter
H&M Leather Jacket
Vintage BONGO Jeans
Jeffrey Campbell Soirée

A classic "cool" Cali look. Very laid back and SO "California." Another transition outfit from summer to fall. When it gets windy, throw on a leather jacket to this look and still look cool.

This is just my take on how I like to dress in the fall. I live in southern California where the weather is always beautiful. Hope these looks will inspire some of you this fall! Let me know if you like any of these looks down below in the comment box! Stay Curious, xoxo.

Schoolgirl Q.

(Forever 21 Lilac Jumper, American Apparel Circle Skirt, American apparel socks & bow, Rock & Roll Sneaker Platforms)

Here's a look I wore to school on Friday! Thought it was cute and since the weather cooled down, I was able to wear a jumper. You guys can wear this look for fall at school! It's perfect!! Just wear a loose jumper over a flared, circle skirt like this with a pair of chucks or your cutest flats (even though I'm not a fan of flats!), you can also dress it up with a nice pair of chunky heels (like the Lita's). Hope you guys like it! And if you try it, be sure to comment below with a link to a picture of how you wore it. I'm curious to see how you all will try this look! xoxo, Curiouserlia

Back to School Look 3

(DIY Denim Collar, Estevan Oriole "LA" Tee, American Apparel Disco Pants, Timberland Boots)

Here's a little funky BTS look. I don't always like to match my shoes with the outfit...most of you should know this by now. Some people don't like how I wear J's with a "cute outfit." because it "kills" the look...but I highly disagree. I believe wearing shoes that don't match add a little twist to the look! And it ends up looking right. I don't know...let me know if you guys like the shoes with this fit! You can always change it up and wear this outfit with black Docs or, white chucks...whatever floats your boat! These Timbs float my boat so I'm goin' with it. Hope you guys enjoy! Back to School Look 2

(Forever 21 Jumper, American Rag Shorts, ALDO Sandals)
I know, I've been lagging on my back to school posts, but school has been kicking my ass already! This wasn't one of the looks I originally planned, but it WAS something that I wore to school. This is a comfy fit for when it's hot outside, but super cold in class while the A/C is blasting. It's a little on the girly side and summer-y side but summer isn't over until September 22nd and I live in Southern Cali, so it's been extra hot lately. I hope this inspires some of you! I've got more looks to come...STAY CURIOUS! Xoxo, CuriouserLia

A Pop of Pattern

(H&M Jumper,Shorts from Melrose Trading Post, Jeffrey Campbell Lita's, Vintage Dooney & Bourke purse)

Decided to wear these shorts in a way to show them off...so why not wear it with all nude so the pattern and vibrant colors on the shorts pop?! Even though it's the middle of summer and it's hot as hell! The jumper can be worn at night...yesterday, I wore this out but I definitely changed into a beige tank top because it's just way too hot to wear the jumper. It gets cold at night, therefore with this outfit you can switch back to the jumper.

I found these shorts at some tent at the Melrose Trading Post last Sunday and I copped them for $20. Not bad, right?! They had other vintage colorful patterned shorts but they were all big. These ones fit okay, just a tad bit big so I had to wear a belt. I wish I could've copped the other colorful ones and do a giveaway here...oh well. Hope you all enjoy this look! Comment below! Swaggin' in the J's

(H&M Button-Up Sheer Blouse, American Apparel Olive High-Waisted Shorts, Jordan Playoff 12s)
This past weekend, I participated in yet another shoot with the cool Jeremiah Hart. This time, I got to pose with his wonderful girlfriend, Patricia, in the nice and sunny (kind of breezy) downtown Long Beach. There were a lot of cool spots to shoot at. I enjoyed walking around downtown people watching, seeing all the little shops and restaurants out there. This shoot was just to showcase some J's. I'm sporting the Playoff 12s that came out about two months ago and Patricia is swaggin' out in the Cement 4's which released back in February. I think the shots came out great! I hope this inspires some of you to wear your J's like this. Enjoy!
