Foxy with the Beatles

(H&M Beatles Tank, Jeffrey Campbell 'Big Foxy')

I copped this tank a few years ago and I bought it in a larger size on purpose...to wear it as a dress. The reason why I didn't wear it before when I first got it was because I really did not know what shoes to wear with it. This was back when I didn't own any Jeffrey Campbells', Jordans, etc. Literally, all I had were vintage oxfords and vintage combat boots. So I neglected this tank for a while until yesterday, it popped up in my laundry basket...and here we are with a new post! Finally! I hope you all enjoy this look. Turn an oversized tank into a dress and wear it with a nice pair of chunky heels. Xoxo, CuriouserLia

Standing Out

(DIY Cropped Pocket Tee, DIY Maxi Skirt, Timberland's)
This might not be the typical shoe a typical female would choose for this outfit, but I chose these shoes because I felt like it could go with this fit. I like to wear shoes that throw the outfit off a bit. If I wore sandals with this outfit, it would be too girly in my opinion. Same as if I wore a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's with this fit, it would be too cliche. So, I'd rather be different than "typical" or "cliche." This is MY "personal style" fashion blog, so why wouldn't I throw in some of my personal style into this outfit? If you don't like it, then that's fine with me. Not everyone is going to like how I paired these shoes with this outfit. Some people may like it, though. As long as I love it and it screams out "curiouserlia." After all, this IS my "personal style" fashion blog. It's about time I start separating my style and stand out from the rest. Xoxo, CuriouserLia

I mean, if it were summer already...this look is a preview of what I intend to wear all summer long. Snapbacks, leotards and vintage high-waisted shorts.

Paid Dues 2013

This was our 3rd year going to Paid Dues as VIP and once again, it was amazing! Although, at the beginning, everything was unorganized and the venue workers didn't know where the VIP section was so we were sent to different places all around the venue. I have to admit, I was pissed off at first and was yelling at the venue workers until finally we found the VIP tent and got all of our free stuff: Paid Dues backpack, posters, Paid Dues tee, VIP Passes and wristbands, and pit access wristbands. The VIP area was huge and it was a nice little rest area with food, drinks and a live DJ playing music all day. Honestly, VIP at Paid Dues is worth the $178. There were a lot of sections at the venue where only VIP had access to and general admission were far away from the main stage. I don't think I'll ever buy general admission to this festival because VIP is so worth it and it makes the experience that much better. If you guys ever think of going to Paid Dues next year, I suggest you buy VIP tickets. Trust me, it's worth every dollar.
