My Current Obsessions

I'm still obsessed with lace. I still love lace. I think it's a staple in my closet. FOR SURE!




Since my hair is super duper long now, I've been super lazy to curly it or do anything with it...but I do do braids. If anything, I just love laid back, messy, "don't care" hair-do's. I love braids. Crazy braids, random braids...I just love the messy look. Now that I have long hair, I can embrace the crazy, messy look. I think it helps with some of my "grungy" outfits. It's the finishing touch to a grungy outfit. Definitely.




Since I live in California and I'm a "California Girl," it's Daisy Dukes year-round for me. I wear shorts and dresses in the winter. Sometimes I do a "confused outfit" where I have a super thick sweater with shorts or a dress. Hey, it's California...it's not THAT cold. True California Girl. Daisy Dukes and dresses/skirts all year-round!

The Disco Pant

I know these are old and all...but I have always wanted these SO BAD! They're American Apparel's $82.00 high-waisted nylon form-fitting pants. They are to die for...in my opinion. I don't like wearing jeans and I love wearing tights so why not buy the Disco Pants?! They're exactly like pants but they're stretchy like tights. I can't wait to finally get them!

Now that I have a job, I can finally save up some money to buy some pricey shoes once in a while. I am so excited! Here are some obsessions I have. I'm Excited for Paid Dues!

Paid Dues Hip-Hop Festival is coming up very soon! April 2nd, 2011 to be exact. This will be my very first Hip-Hop Festival and I have a feeling it's going to be a good one! The line-up is swag. I talked to MURS at his Melrose signing and he made sure that he included all the new swag upcoming rappers like Lil B The Based God, Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, Nipsey Hussle, and Skeme. He also included old school classics like Binary Star, Visionaries, BUN B, E-40, MURS himself and Black Star: Mos Def & Talib Kweli and many more artists. I am extremely excited for this festival because I got VIP Tickets with my boyfriend and we get to meet MURS again. We're like his #1 fans (Not kidding). Swag! I have a feeling I'm going to be at the "Dues Paid" Stage all day because that stage has all the rappers I want to see. I am so happy that Black Star is headlining and I am super stoked to see them live. Mos Def is so swag!
