It was an L.A. kind of day...

So today I went to the Fairfax High School Flea Market which happens every Sunday. I brought along with me my two favorite boys: my boyfriend and my bestfriend. We shopped around and found some cool things! I like to call this flea market an "outdoor thrift store."






There were so many tents that sold cute, unique accessories. This one tent sold all sunglasses for cheap! I loved all their sunglasses. Maybe next time I'll buy a pair if I find a really unique design...





Overall, it was another great thrifting experience. This was my 2nd time at this flea market and I actually found a red vintage SUPER over-sized Lacoste cardigan. I fell in love with it right away and its so big and comfy. Can't wait to put together outfits with it and show you guys how I plan to style it. Stay tuned for that!

DIY Overnight Hair Curlers

Funny story about my hair...I've always wanted to try using hair rollers to sleep in overnight but I don't have any so I made my own! I rolled up thin maxi-pads (about 4 of em) and rolled my hair around them and slept with them overnight and this was the result! I'm so happy with the results, its safe to say I just invented maxi-curlers LOL!

Trend alert: Dark Lips

Honestly, this is not a lipstick that I am using...I actually mixed two lipliners together from Clinique and I forgot the names but I know that MAC has a new collection of dark lipsticks so y'all should check it out. I'm actually broke right now so when I do get paid again I am definitely going to cop some dark MAC lipsticks and I'll review them here for you all. I love you all! Current Favorites

Make-up wise, my current favorites are Benefit's "They're Real" mascara, Milani's Infinite liquid liner, and MAC's Plum and Brave. I really love Benefit's "They're Real" mascara because I work at Abercrombie & Fitch and we are only allowed to wear mascara and no eyeliner and I needed to find a mascara that would make my eyelashes look naturally full. This mascara really makes your eyelashes look like you're wearing falsies. That's how good it is! It doesn't clump and it doesn't melt. It stays on for 24 hours and it is just so wonderful. I love it and I don't think I'll ever change mascaras.

I've been having these three items for the longest time and they will always be my favorite. My blackberry and I have a love-hate relationship...My big black mug is wha I use to eat my cereal for breakfast or my oatmeal. My round sunglasses are theeee best and I love them from (H&M). I still want a pair of those in black, still on the hunt for a pair...anybody know any sites I can check out for round lens glasses in black?

How I Style It: Floral Corset

This originally was a dress from Forever 21 but I only like the corset portion of it so I cut it so that I can wear it with shorts or skirts. I chose to show you guys two ways I would wear this corset casually.





I paired this corset with my vintage levis high-waisted shorts, an H&M Cardigan and my newly purchased Jeffrey Campbell Velvet Wine Ford's. I was also thinking of pairing it with a nude or gray colored blazer and some combat boots. Then I decided to create a more feminine chic look with this corset...


I made the outfit more of a softer look with this Forever 21 White Maxi Skirt and a brown belt to tie the outfit together. I love maxi skirts and I own a black one, too. Decided to cop the white one because I love wearing white as much as I love wearing black. This look would also look nice if it were paired with the black maxi skirt. Enjoy!
